Les called the May meeting of the Wyoming Prospectors Association to order at 5:10 p.m.

Introductions were made as there many new faces.

There were 4 board members and 1 alternate present.

Secretary, Kimberlee Raymond read the minutes from the April meeting.  As there were no corrections, motions were made and carried to approve minutes as read.

Treasurer, Deb Palmer read the treasurers report, reporting bills paid and deposits made.  Motions were made and carried to accept report as read.

Correspondence:  We received a letter from the D.E.Q. letting us know that our bond was sufficient and has been released from the work on the Wilson Bar claim.

Claims:  Jim Hinesley reported that all claims are accessible.  Some drifts still present but all are open for prospecting.
              The other claim mentioned last month that Jim was working on has been put aside for now.

National News:  Nothing new to report.  We will send $100 to the PLP for support on court issues.

Old Business: South Dakota claim was prospected as well as possible considering there was a storm the whole weekend.  The claim showed some possibilities but do to the distance, the club voted unanimously to not purchase the claim.

Paula still working on ID cards for claim identification.

The same invitation that was extended to the Big Horn GPAA chapter has been extended to the Laramie chapter as well to attend the June outing. 

Outing Committee:  Randy and Les have started getting dirt moved for the outing.  We are still accepting help for this project. 

The club also voted and extended a 1 year membership to Carl Anderson for the use of his equipment in getting ready for the outing.

As it stands, the following again is the list of outing volunteers and their contact information to those wishing to assist that group.

For the June 15th Rock Hound show:

The 50/50 raffle was won by Joyce Raymond.  Congrats.

The next meeting will be June 9th, 2007 at 5:00 p.m. at the Miners Grubstake.

Mini Outing set for that morning.  Meet at the Sweetwater rest area between 8:30 - 9:00 a.m.  Bring buckets and your own lunch.
