Minutes from the last meeting held during the annual outting were read and approved. Treasurers report was read and approved. Deb Palmer read the coorespondance received from the PLP, a thank you note for our donation made. Also a letter from the Atlantic City Historical Society was read, dues of $10 for the year is due and it was decided by the club to go ahead and renew. The letter from the Hitorical Society announced a meeting at the Miners Grubstake to be held on Saturday, August 29th at 9:45am where a historian and an archealogist will share findings and history of the area. If you wish to attend it was suggested that you bring your own chair and a sack lunch. A club member also suggested that we make a donation to the society of a $100. Motion was made and carried by the club.

Glenn Lansberry shared how preparations are going for the Green River Walk which will take place on Friday and Saturday, August 14th & 15th  He also stated that volunteers are still neded to help with the gold panning area of the booth. Any who wish to help are certanily welcome. If you would like to help set up either day, the time to show up is from 1-4pm (event runs from 4-10pm) on Friday or 7-9am (event runs from 9-4p) on Saturday. The club will provide lots of supplies (T-shirts, hats, jackets, hat pins, gold & gem packets, gold pan kits, etc) to sell at this event.
Les, Janiece and Deb worked hard placing corner stakes on 6 claims. Look for them, white PVC with red, white and blue stripes.
Claims Report from Les Armstrong: Messy Soup is actually pretty messy right now. Most likely you won't get in there in a pickup, an ATV is suggested. All the others are in good shape, accessible by pickup truck. Strawberry Luck is now named: Big Easy and went from 20 acres to a 40 acre claim. Watch for the map to follow.
Claims Report from Randy Hutchison: It is vital that if any member accesses any WPA claim that they fill out a claims report. This is required by the BLM when they ask to see an assessment we'll have them to present. Each time you use a claim just fill it out and mail it in. These forms are on the WPA website. Thank you!
Next Meeting: Breakfast on Saturday, September 12th at the Miners Grubstake in Atlantic City at 9am

Meeting Adjourned: 2:20pm
