SEPTEMBER 10, 2005 

BEFORE THE SEPTEMBER MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER, GUEST SPEAKER DAVE MILLER GAVE A PRESENTATION ON GEOLOGY AND WHERE THE MARKET HAS BEEN AND MAY GO IN THE FUTURE. IT WAS VERY INFORMATIVE. AFTER THE PRESENTATION MR. MILLER DREW FOR THE WINNERS OF THE GOLD COIN AND THE GOLD NUGGETS. THOSE WINNERS WERE: 
ROGER FULLERTON OF ATLANTIC CITY - 1 OZ GOLD COIN 
RON J. ABERNATHY OF ATLANTIC CITY - GOLD NUGGETS

THE SEPTEMBER MEETING OF THE WYOMING PROSPECTORS WAS CALLED TO ORDER AT 6:25 P.M. AT THE DREDGE IN ATLANTIC CITY BY RANDY HUTCHISON. 

SECRETARY KIMBERLEE RAYMOND READ THE MINUTE FROM THE AUGUST METTING. THERE WERE NO CORRECTIONS NECCESSARY. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED AS READ AND MOTIONS CARRIED. 

TREASURER DEB PALMER READ THE TREASURERS REPORT. SHE REPORTED BILLS PAID AND DEPOSITS MADE. MINUTES WERE APPROVED. MOTIONS MADE AND CARRIED. 

CLAIMS COMMITTEE: 
COOKER IS GETTING CLOSER, PARTS ARE SLOWLY GETTING ROUNDED UP. 

RANDY REPORTED THAT WE HAVE BEEN GIVING THE OK TO EXPLORE ON BROKEN SHOVEL, MARY D-3, AND LUCKY 4 US WITH A BACKHOE.  

CORRESPONDANCE: 
WE RECEIVED A THANK YOU CARD FROM JUNE LOCKER TO EVERYONE FOR THINKING OF HER. 
THIS DIDN'T GET IN TO THE MEETING AS DEB HADN'T OPENED IT YET. 

OLD BUSINESS: 
THE POINTS SYSTEM WAS PUT OFF TIL IT CAN BE RE-EVALUATED IN A BOARD MEETING. 

JACKIE STILL WORKING ON CALL LIST. 

THERE IS STILL NO NEWS AS TO THE AVAILABLITY OF THE CAMPING ON ROCK CREEK ON PRIVATE LAND. WE WILL LET EVERYONE KNOW WHEN IT BECOMES AVAILABLE. 

NEW BUSINESS: 
THE CLUB DISCUSSED DONATIONS TO THE KATRINA VICTIMS AND IT WAS DECIDED THAT WE WILL DONATE $100 TO THE REDCROSS AND $100 TO THE SALVATION ARMY. DONATION APPROVED. MOTIONS MADE AND CARRIED. RANDY SAID HE WOULD HANDLE THIS PROJECT. 

THE CLUB DISCUSSED THE NEED FOR WINTER MEETING AND IT WAS DECIDED TO ONLY HOLD BAORD MEETINGS IN THE MONTHS OF NOVEMBER AND JANUARY IN PLACE OF REGULAR WINTER MEETINGS. THIS IS DUE TO PRICE OF FUEL AND THE WINTER WEATHER. IT WAS APPROVED BY THE CLUB. MOTIONS MADE AND CARRIED. OUR NEXT MEETING WILL BE MARCH 11, 2006. LOCATION WILL BE DECIDED AT A LATER DATE. 

THE CLUB WILL LATER DISCUSS THE IDEA OF PURCHASING A PARCEL OF LAND TO BUILD A STRUCTURE FOR MEETINGS AS WELL AS STORAGE FOR THE CLUB TRAILERAND EQUIPMENT.

THE CLUB WOULD LIKE TO WISH A SPEEDY RECOVERY TO JERRY D'ADAMO AFTER HIS RECENT BACK SURGERY. 

AS WELL AS LARRY NOBLE WITH HIS NECK SURGERY, AND LARRY BARRY A SPEEDY RECOVERY WITH HIS INJURED SHOULDER. 

MEETING WAS AJOURNED AT 6:55 P.M.  
A TICKET RAFFLE WAS HELD AND CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL WHO WON PRIZES.
