President, Scott Luers called the May meeting of the WPA to order at 1:00 p.m. at the Miner's Grubstake.

Introductions were made as there were many faces present.

Secretary, Kimberlee Raymond read the minutes from the April meeting.  As there were no corrections. motions were made and carried to accept the minutes as read.

Treasurer, Deb Palmer read the treasurers report. She reported bills paid and deposits made.  Motions were made and carried to accept minutes as read.

Claims Committee:  Nothing new, still covered with snow.
 Bridge Buster paperwork is all complete and ready to prospect.

National News:  Nothing new.

Correspondence:  None at the time.

Old Business:  Still need to schedule board meeting to discuss advertising.
 Day in the Park- Still a go, again volunteers welcome.  July 12th, 2008 Set up 6:00 a.m. - 8:00  a.m. and show from 8:00a.m.  to 3:00 p.m.
Outing- Location still in discussion. 

The club sold the old cooker top that Roger had donated and we will share the profit with him.

New Business:  None.

Due to weather, and limited attendance, motions were made and carried to postpone nominations for next years officers. 

Motions were also made and carried to change the by-laws to reflect the nomination, voting and appointing of new officers to done at the June outing.  This also will need to be done at a Board meeting.

Next meeting, June 14th, 2008 at 12:00 at the Miner's Grubstake.  We will have a mini outing @ Yankee Gulch, weather permitting.

Meeting adjourned at 1:25 p.m.

The 50/50 raffle was won by Jacque Schmidt, congratulations.

Club raffle had 36 prizes, 4 of which were gold vials, congratulations to all who won.
