President, Scott Luers called the July meeting to order at 5:50 p.m. at the Annual Outing. 

Introductions were made as many were present.

Secretary, Kimberlee Raymond, read the minutes. As there were no corrections. Motions were made and carried to accept minutes as read. 

Treasurer, Deb Palmer, read treasurers report. She reported bills paid and deposits made. Motions were made and carried to accept the report as read. 

Claims Committee: None

National News: None

Correspondence: None

Reclamation Committee: Nothing new

Old Business: Day in the Park on the 12th. Volunteers! 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

 July 19th - Clarissa tour. Meet at 9:45 a.m. Tour starts at 10:00 a.m. Only 20 people.

 No chance of buying land on Atlantic Gulch. 

 Motions were made and carried to purchase decals/stickers with club logo on them.

 Advertising issue has been tabled for a later date due to the amount of current club  members.

New Business: Bylaws have been changed to reflect nominations and election of officers will  be done at the annual outing each year.  Those nominated must be present to  accept.

Motions were made and carried to give Carl Anderson money for fuel. 

Motions for name tags for next year outing. It will be looked into for next year.

Motion were made and carried to give demonstrators $50 for coming to give demonstration.

Being no oppositions they were elected by acclamation.

Congratulations to our new Officers and Board Members for the 2008-2009 year.

Meeting was adjourned at 6:50 p.m.

Next meeting August 9th at Yankee Gulch. Meet at Miner's Delight Cemetery at 8:30 a.m. Bring your own food and drinks for the day.

Bev Harris won the 50/50 raffle. 
There were several winners at the club raffle. Congrats to all who won.

Special thank you to everyone who helped make this another safe wonderful outing for everyone. It was a great turn out.

Day in the Park was successful - We acquired a $5 gold coin and raffled it off, winner was Joy Lane. Congratulations.
