THE AUGUST MEETING OF THE WYOMING PROSPECTORS WAS CALLED TO ORDER AT
6:21 P.M. AT THE DREDGE IN ATLANTIC CITY BY PRESIDENT RANDY HUTCHISON.
INTRODUCTIONS WERE MADE AS THERE WERE NEW MEMBERS PRESENT.
SECRETARY KIMBERLEE RAYMOND READ THE MINUTES FROM THE JULY MEETING.
NO CORRECTIONS WERE MADE. MINUTES WERE APPROVED AS READ AND MOTIONS
CARRIED.
TREASURER DEB PALMER READ THE TREASURER'S REPORT. REPORTED BILLS
PAID AND DEPOSITS MADE. MOTION WAS MADE TO ACCEPT TREASURERS REPORT
AS READ. MOTIONS WERE MADE AND CARRIED.
VICE PRESIDENT SCOTT LUERS REPORTED ON THE BOARD MEETING HELD ON AUGUST
4TH, 2005. IT WAS DECIDED THAT FROM NOW ON WE WILL BE MAILING THE MONTHLY
NEWS LETTER VIA US MAIL TO EVERYONE. YOU MAY STILL READ THEM ON THE
INTERNET, BUT YOU WILL ALSO GET A COPY IN YOUR MAIL. THIS WAS DECIDED
DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF MEMBERS WHO DO NOT HAVE INTERNET ACCESS. THESE
WILL BE MAILED BY PAULA JONES.
THE GOLD FROM THE JUNE OUTING WAS ALSO DIVIDED. EVERYONE THAT
WAS IN ATTENDANCE FROM THE OUTING RECEIVED THEIR SPLIT. A FEW WERE
MISSING, IF YOU THINK YOU ARE ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE, PLEASE CONTACT US.
WE DREW FOR 3 NUGGETS AND THE WINNERS ARE AS FOLLOWS: COMMITTEE REPORT:
RANDY REPORTED THAT WE WILL HAVE TO FILE A PLAN OF OPERATION TO ACQUIRE
OUR BLM EXPLORATION PERMIT FOR THE MARY D1 AND MARY D 5. NO WORD
HAS BEEN RECEIVED ON THE REQUEST TO DO FURTHER EXPLORATION ON THE BROKEN
SHOVEL, MARY D-2, MARY D-3 AND LUCKY 4 US. HE WILL REPORT ON THOSE AS TIME
GOES ON.
JIM HINESLEY ASKED WHO WOULD BE DOING THE ASSESSMENT WORK FOR THE AMANDA
28. IT WAS ALSO DECIDED AT THE BOARD MEETING THAT AS ACTING PRESIDENT,
RANDY WOULD TAKE CARE OF THE ASSESSMENTS.
COOKER COMMITTEE:
LES REPORTED NO PROGRESS ON THE COOKER AS THERE IS PLENTY OF TIME.
HE WILL START CHECKING INTO GETTING MATERIALS SOON.
RAFFLE COMMITTEE:
MANY MEMBERS TURNED IN THEIR TICKETS THAT HAD BEEN SOLD. PLEASE
BE SURE TO BRING ALL TICKETS SOLD OR UNSOLD TO THE SEPTEMBER MEETING AS
WE WILL BE DRAWING THEN. IF YOU FIND YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO ATTEND,
PLEASE MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO GET TO YOUR TICKETS AND MONEY TO ANOTHER CLUB
MEMBER. THERE ARE STILL TICKETS THAT CAN BE SOLD. IF YOU NEED
MORE, PLEASE CONTACT PEGGY OR SEE IF ANOTHER MEMBER HAS ANY EXTRA. RANDY
WILL SEE ABOUT FINDING AN OUTSIDE THE CLUB SPOKESPERSON TO DRAW FOR THE
WINNERS.
RECLAMATION:
RANDY HAS DISCUSSED WITH DEQ THE RELEASE OF THE RECLAMATION BOND ON
AMANDA 25 SINCE THE RECLAMATION WORK WAS COMPLETED LAST SEASON. DEQ
AND BLM HAVEN'T HAD TIME TO GET OUT THERE AND INSPECT. THEY WILL
GET TO IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. WE WILL KEEP AFTER THEM.
EQUIPMENT:
JUST A REMINDER THAT THE CLUB HAS SOME EQUIPMENT THAT CAN BE RENTED.
IF ANYONE INTERESTED, PLEASE CONTACT SCOTT OR RANDY. THE TRAILER IS CURRENTLY
AT DAN PALMERS ABOVE ATLANTIC CITY BUT WILL BE FINDING A WINTER HOME SOON.
NEW BUSINESS:
JACKIE SCHMIDT MADE A REQUEST THAT THERE BE A CALL LIST DONE FOR WHEN
WE HAVE MEETINGS OR MINI OUTINGS. THIS WAY THERE WILL BE NO CONFUSION AS
TO WHETHER FOOD WILL BE SERVED ETC. DUE TO LAST MINUTE CHANGES. SHE
WILL DEVISE A LIST AND PRESENT IT TO THE MEMBERSHIP. MOTIONS WERE MADE
AND CARRIED TO DEVISE CALL LIST. THE CLUB WOULD LIKE TO WISH JUNE LOCKER A SPEEDY RECOVERY AFTER HER
ILLNESS. GET BETTER SOON.
ROSEMARY AND KEITH BLAIR, YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ARE IN ALL OUR THOUGHTS
WITH THE BEST WISHES ON YOUR FATHERS HEALTH CONDITION.
ALICE MARLATT, YOU ARE ALSO IN OUR THOUGHTS. WE WOULD HOPE
THAT ALL CONTINUES TO GO WELL WITH YOU AND YOUR HEALTH CONDITIONS.
WE WILL DISCUSS THE POINT SYSTEM AT THE NEXT MEETING AS FAR AS WHAT
AND HOW MANY POINTS WILL BE GIVEN AND WHAT THEY ARE REDEEMED FOR.

THE NEXT MEETING WILL BE HELD SEPTEMBER 10, 2005 AT THE DREDGE AT 5:00
P.M. WILL HAVE A MINI OUTING AT THE BROKEN SHOVEL LOCATED AT THE
BACK SIDE OF FT. STAMBAUGH LOOP RD AT 9:00 A.M.. BRING YOUR SACK
LUNCH. WE WILL HAVE A POT LUCK SUPPER AT THE MEETING. WE HAVE
ACCESS TO THE KITCHEN FOR HEATING OF FOOD ITEMS THAT NEED HEATED.
YOU MAKE THE MESS, YOU CLEAN IT!
