WPA MINUTES FOR April 8, 2006
President Randy Hutchison called the meeting of the Wyoming
Prospectors to order at 1:01 p.m. at the Dredge in Atlantic City.
Secretary Kimberlee Raymond read the minutes from the
March meeting. Motions were made and carried to approve minutes as
read.
Treasurer Deb Palmer read the treasurers report.
She reported on bills paid and deposits made. Motions were made and
carried to Correspondence: Only correspondence was the bill for the
web site through Wyoming.com. It was agreed to pay the invoice and keep
the web site up and running.
Committee Reports:
No claims committee due to the current weather situation.
Hopefully we will have something to report soon.
Cooker: Coming along nicely. Should be done
in time for the outing.
Outing Committee: We have covered most of the important
areas of the outing but are always welcome to any other volunteers!
Old Business: New Business:
We discussed a 50/50 raffle to be included in the news
letter. This will be for club members only. It was voted upon and
decide that it would start in this news letter. Tickets will be added
to monthly news letter, and the price will be $1 each or 6 for $5.
W are still looking for items of public interest for upcoming
raffles.
Next meeting will be held at the Dredge on May 13th, 2006.
3:00 pm the weather permits. Thanks to everyone who brought food. We had a raffle
and congratulations to all that won.

Vice president Scott Luers discussed what purpose his
visit to Washington will include as far as laws and regulations that we
face here in Wyoming as well as what other states are doing. When
he returns, Scott will tell what they need as far as donations.
A mini outing is planned for those who want to try .
we will be meeting at the Dredge at 9:00 in the morning. You're on you're
own for lunch.
