Meeting called to Order at: 10:01
Introductions: 21 members present. Reading of minutes of Aug. meeting:

Deb Palmer read minutes from 8-10-19. Randy Hutchinson made motion to accept minutes. Les Armstrong seconded and the motion passed.

Correspondence: Deb Palmer said Mining Journal Subscription is due to be renewed. She questioned if we still wanted to renew. Randy Hutchison said Scott Ham volunteers his time and money to research to further assist miners and for that reason we should support them and continue subscribing.

Treasurers Report: Deb Palmer read the treasurers report. Les Armstrong made a motion to accept the report. Randy seconded it and the motion passed.

Committee Reports: Randy said he has sent in exemption papers. Assessment papers need to be in before end of year. Miners need to send in mining reports for assessment work, even if you don't find much. Your work still counts. Still need reports on Messy Soup, Amanda 26,
. We discussed the fact that one of our claims had been trashed, apparently from claim jumpers. If you see someone not a member working our claims, don't confront them (you can ask if they are members) Get license plate number and tum it in. Remember to have badges available when on claims.

Old Business: Deb Palmer hasn't sent in membership for Atlantic City Historical Society yet. She will do that next week She did purchase 3 of their 150th Year Anniversary for Atlantic City books. She sold one at meeting. Still have 2 more at $36.75.

New Business: Randy Hutchison had a call from Carl Anderson who gave us the Bridge Buster claim, about 10 yrs. ago. He wondered if we would give it back or sell it back so he could mine it with equipment. Discussion followed. Fred Moore made a Motion to table until Board of Directors discuss it and we have more information. Richard Smith 2nd.  And the motion passed. It was suggested to have Randy at the Board meeting for this. Discussion on why the Association couldn't rent a backhoe to work on the claim. We also wondered if we could lease land next to Bridge Buster. Deb Palmer asked about maps for Declan and Declan B needed on website. Need to get to Keith. Randy Hutchison wanted to know if anyone would be the claims agent to fill out paperwork. He would like to resign. Shannon offered to become agent next year. A discussion ensued on her qualifications.
