Regular Meeting Minutes
June 10, 2023
The meeting was called to order at 10:07 a.m. at the Miner’s Grubstake in Atlantic City, Wyoming.
Board Members present were: Jim Brines (President), Shawn Raymond (Vice President), Jacque Stoldt (Treasurer), Deb Palmer.  There were 20 members at the meeting.
Jacque Stoldt read the meeting minutes from the May 13, 2023 meeting.  Paula Jones motioned to accept the minutes as read.  Shawn Raymond seconded the motion.  All ayes; motion passed.
Correspondence: There was an interesting article about the IRS misusing funds by purchasing at least $11.5 million worth of software equipment that was never used.
Jacque Stoldt read the treasurer’s report.  Shawn Raymond motioned to accept the treasurer’s report as read.  Paula Jones seconded the motion.  All ayes; motion passed.
Officer/Committee Reports:  The trailer is already finished.  Glen Johnson is going to bring it back to Deb’s house this afternoon and Joyce and Eugene are going to take him the final payment along with a thank you card from the association.  The shipping was $318 higher than they had expected so the total for the roof replacement was $4800. 
Old Business:
Annual Outing: Les is going to put the signs out by Thursday morning before the outing.  We will set up the tents around 9-10 a.m. on Friday, June 23rd.  We will go get dirt after that.  We can use all of the help that we can get for both of these projects.  Many hands make light work!  Keith reminded everyone to take pictures during the outing.  We also need to spray for mosquitoes on Thursday and possibly again on Friday.  They are bad this year!
Breakfast:  Someone forgot to pay for their breakfast last month.  We wrote everyone down this time, and everyone paid.  Thanks for doing your part!
Bridgebuster:  There is no new official news about the Bridgebuster claim.  We are hoping to hear back from some sources about our legal rights. 
New Business:
No new business this month.
The next meeting will be at the annual outing on June 24th, following the meal.

Everyone is welcome to come to the annual outing and attend the meeting after the meal on Saturday evening.  There is a minimal charge for guests for dinner.

*Gold panning, highbankers, sluices, drywashers will be set up and running
*Metal Detecting Competition (bring your metal detectors!)
*Dinner and meeting Saturday evening
*Breakfast Sunday morning
*Raffles and 50/50 drawing Saturday evening
*Many laughs and great conversations!!
