    1. Introductions were made, we had a new member sign up during the meeting, Welcome Joel Sherman and family. We had 14 in attendance.
    2. Paula Koon read last club meetings minutes Penni Harden made motion to accept minutes as read, Deb Palmer seconded, vote taken motion passed
    3. Penni Harden gave financial report (quarterly updates on the CD’s, bonds, and savings account). Mary Hutchison made motion to accept, Deb Palmer seconded, vote taken motion passed
    4. Paula Koon read correspondence received: we received letters from The Food Bank of the Rockies, Salvation Army, and a thank you card from Deb Palmer. We also received a letter from the BLM concerning our Agent (Randy Hutchison) and notification of their receipt of our forms.

     

    Old Business: The Moya G has been okayed for use by the club again. Please remember if you dig a hole please fill it up before you leave. Please use the correct filler for the holes: if you remove dirt replace with dirt. If we don’t take care and reclaim our dig sites, that the owners have been nice enough to allow the club to use, we could lose our privileges to those claims.

     

    The map for the Big Easy is correct for all who asked.

     

    Deb Palmer made the motion to table the nomination for President and/ or Vice President until our March meeting, Randy Hutchison seconded, motion passed.

     

    We made donations to the following causes: Cowboys Against Cancer, Wyoming Food Bank of The Rockies, Fremont Co. Fire Fighters, The Heritage Museum, American Legion# 28, Salvation Army.

     

    New Business: It was brought to our attention that we could donate to the Civil Air Patrol as they have a cause called Wreaths Across America, this organization places wreaths on Veteran’s graves across the country.

     

    A motion was made by Deb Palmer to donate $50.00 to the Heritage Museum for the use of their facilities for our meeting, Randy Hutchison seconded, motion passed.

     

    Would like to congratulate Deb Palmer on the door prize win.

     

    Next Month’s Meeting: March 10th at the Heritage Museum in Riverton. 12:00 for a pot luck lunch, 1:00 meeting.  We will have a guest speaker Capt. Falken from the Civil Air Patrol.

     There will be no meeting in Feb.
