    1. Introductions : We had 25 in attendance
    2. Secretary read last club meetings minutes Paula Jones made motion to accept minutes as read with the correction of: that the officers were elected not board members. Les Armstrong seconded motion passed.
    3. Treasurer gave financial report Jacque Schmidt made motion to accept treasurers report, Joyce Raymond seconded motion passed
    4. Secretary read correspondence received: We received a letter from the Atlantic City Historical Society, informing us of their upcoming meeting on Aug. 26th. Meet at the Grubstake at 9:45am, to tour the Atlantic City cemetery. (pack a lunch or order from Grubstake the day before.)

     

    Old Business:

    Plan of excavation at the Bridge Buster by Dozing, plus plan of operations. John Maddock is working on the permits.

    If you have mined on the following claims Messy Soup, Mud Pie, Mary D1, need your mining reports ASAP

     

    New Business: Jim Shirey has resigned his position as Vice President of the WPA. Floor was opened to nominations for the position. Randy Hutchison made nomination of Jacque Schmidt for Vice President, Joyce Raymond seconded, vote taken, won by acclimation. Welcome to the Board Jacque.

    Les Armstrong made motion to give Deb Palmer $100.00 for the extra trips she made for the outing. Lucky Hennings and Jim Brines seconded, vote taken, motion passed.

     

     

    Next Month’s Meeting: Grubstake restaurant, Atlantic City, Sept 9th, 9 a.m. for breakfast, 10 a.m. meeting. Please RSVP Paula Koon @ 307-212-0080 by Wednesday the 6th. ( I don’t always hear my phone but leave a message I will get it.)
