Minutes for meeting held on Aug. 13, 2022               Location: Road Grader parking lot Atlantic City Rd.
The meeting was called to order at 9:27 AM.

Officers Present: Jim Brines President, Shawn Raymond Vice President, Joyce Raymond Secretary, Jacque Stoldt Treasurer.

Introductions: 24 members and 2 guests.

Reading the minutes of the last meeting. Secretary Joyce Raymond read the minutes Shawn Raymond made the motion to accept the minutes as read, motion seconded by Bob Platzer and the motion passed.

 Correspondence: The Annual meeting of the Atlantic City Historical Society will be held August 27, 2022 at 10:00 AM. There will be a presentation and tour by Gina Clingman, the BLM Abandoned Mine Lands Archeologist.
Dues are still $10.00. After some discussion Randy Hutchison made a motion to pay the $10.00 dues and send a $100.00 donation. The motion was seconded by Les Armstrong. The motion passed.
Jacque Stoldt gave a short report on an article from the Miners Journal.

Treasurers Report: Jacque Stoldt gave the Treasurers Report. Shawn Raymond made a motion to accept the report, seconded by Les Armstrong and the motion passed.

Committee Reports: Randy Hutchison reported that he was resigning as the Claims Agent, effective  immediately due to some administrative changes at the US Department of the Interior.
Bob Platzer volunteered to take over with help from Randy till he learned the job. Bob was appointed Claims Agent.

Old Business: Chip Lansberrry made a motion to reimburse $200.00 each to the three members who moved equipment, hauled ore and put out the signs for the Annual Outing. They each made several trips. Shawn Raymond seconded the motion and the motion passed.

Jacque Stoldt reported she has set up an account on Facebook to help promote Wyoming Prospectors Association. She also acquired a travel card to pay for it. The Bank advised a Debit Card would be safer.

New Business: Discussion on getting people interested in participating and attending meetings and being an officer in the Association. It was suggested to let people know about some Forums they can find on the Internet. Four that were mentioned are Treasurernet.com, Detector Prospector, Finds Treasure Forum, Nugget Shooter Forum.

The Next Meeting will be on September 10, 2022.
